 Why to avoid sugary drinks to keep healthy

Sugary drinks (liquid drinks), commonly known as soft drinks, contain high amount of added sugar, sweetner and other unhealthy components. Sugar-sweetned drinks are very harmful for us.They contain no amount of vitamins, no minerals, no proteins which are essential for keeping our body healthy.

Nowadays most of the people have one common problem WEIGHT GAIN. Drinking sugary drinks are directly associated with weight gain and accumulation of fats. Main cause of belly fat is added sugar. The liver plays an important role in the metabolism of the sugar, thus excessive amount of sugary drinks, resulting in fatty liver diseases also.

In addition to the renal system, kidney stones are may be a result of these unhealthy soft drinks. Behind the Other metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus and other endocrine disorders,  sugary drinks are one of the reason.

These drinks are unsafe for teeth also. They can cause dental carries, toothache , make teeth oversensitive and weakened the teeth.

Sweetened beverages reduce the absorption of calcium and magnesium, and lead to defective development of bones during adulthood and increase the risk of fractures.

And with that if we talk about the digestive system, soft drinks can cause bloating and upset stomach etc.

Taking in large quantities of added sugar can cause breathing problems, asthmatic symptoms and other lungs related disorders.
